The Company SEBA Hydrometrie GmbH was established in 1967 in Oberbeuren by Dionys Fröhlich and Wolfgang Marxer. Among the first products on our offer were hydrometric gauges, used mainly for water management. In 1990 Wolfgang Zasche took over company's management in the capacity of the managing partner. By the end of 2012 Rudolf Düster joined the Company as his successor.
The continuous expansion of the product portfolio in the areas of groundwater, surface water, waste water and meteorology caused the number of employees to grow, thus necessitating the move to the new premises in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz. In particular, our software development made enormous progress in the age of digitalisation.
Since then we have been operating internationally. In the field of hydrology, meteorology and sewage, our family business is one of the world's leading manufacturers of environmental monitoring systems. Besides the standard products - which, incidentally, have been proving and demonstrating their efficiency for several decades now - we have expanded our product range, particularly in the areas of water quality measurement, remote data transmission (GSM / GPRS, SAT) and digital sensors. Our specialty are self-sufficient, battery-operated measurement and monitoring networks for field use.
